This certificate has a 12-month expiry date and can be handed to any Solicitor or Estate Agent in England & Wales when you come to sell your home, making the purchase of your HIP that much cheaper.

Overview
Lime Energy works with Homeowner’s and Businesses across the South Coast of England providing Energy Efficiency consultancy and Energy Performance Certificates for inclusion in Home Information Packs.
Energy Efficiency Consultation
Consultancy support can be purchased on an hourly basis and can be used to identify and implement initiatives or address specific issues within the home with a view to improving its overall energy efficiency.
During the consultation the following areas will be considered;
> Ways in which the energy efficiency of the home can be improved
> What action should be taken in each of the areas
> Who should take the action (it could be the client or a recommendation of a sub contractor from Lime Energy or that Lime Energy completes the work)
> What risk is associated with each point and therefore the priority of each action
> A summary report detailing findings and recommendations
On completion of the consultancy appointment Lime Energy will produce a report for the homeowner and if required will take time during a second appointment to explain the detail held within the report. Lime Energy’s aim is to build trust, simplify legislation, help the homeowner understand the findings and ultimately to build awareness of energy efficiency and improve the energy efficiency of the home.
Energy Performance Certificates
Energy Performance Certificates can be produced on an individual basis. Homes will be assessed based on the number of bedrooms of the property. Lime Energy will carry out an audit of the property and produce an Energy Performance Certificate that will be valid for a 12 month period. The Energy Performance Certificate will form part of the final Home Information Pack.
